Adobe Soapworks, located in Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico, is operated by sisters Mary Jane Tate and Ruth Standifer.
About six years ago we discovered hand crafted soaps and made our first batch for ourselves. We have grown since and enjoy creating special soaps for our customers and friends. Our New Mexico line of soaps has been a fun project with some great soaps as a result.
Our first love is essential oils and the properties they bring to the soaps. We have perfected the hot process method of soapmaking to insure that our soaps made with essential oils retain their good qualities and fine scents. In the spring of 2004 we purchased the oil business from Poozart and now sell Fragrance Oils and Essential Oils. We carry the same fine oils that you relied on from Deb and will add more oils as we find them.
